Replacing Stairs?

An issue I've run into consistently is that you have to deconstruct everything around things like stairs, just so you can replace it with a different set of stairs.
In games like Conan Exiles you can replace anything with better material without issue, as long as it's the same type of object.

I have the Castlevania DLC, my friend doesn't, so when they put up a stair it's the vanilla one, while I really want to use some of the Castlevania stuff?

I ask the developers: please allow the option to replace items or at the very least use the wallpaper option to change the appearance like we can with the walls. It's really annoying to dismantle an entire upper floor just because of one stair.

I don't think you have to dismantle the whole upper floor. However, you need a path for the ground level. What i do, is stick some stairs somewhere, then change the stairs.

Yes. For the love of V Rising - Please allow easy interchangeable stairs. I just attempted it again for the 3rd time and had to put everything back the way it was. It's game breaking and a tease to those who purchased the DLC with additional stair types.
