Frog form - any use?

I thought that Frog form would allow me to jump to higher cliffs, but I am not able to do it. The frog just goes straight up and then back down. I am missing something?

only small elevations, is mostly for finding weakpoints in someone castle and put a golem there.

i use bat form to fly in people bases then use frog to get out with loot if it has weak spots
some noobs use fences and u can jump over them

Not the most useful benefit, but I'd imagine frog form is similar to wolf farm in the sense that frogs won't aggro you while in that form?

there are cave spots you can use frog to get to it to teleport across map.

I use it in PVE to sneak around other castles to see how they are designed. A lot of times people will leave a back door open, or doors between stairs. Not really beneficial to anything though. I guess you could hop a fence and raid someone’s flower farm… or hop a fence to a back door and steal their prisoner if they have any.

I havent found any teleporter ledges you can get to with frog form.

Frog form gives you infinite, easy quartz. Just go behind Dunley, hop up, and mine to your heart's content.

Sometimes crossing rivers. Some ledges you can jump to rather than go around. Hop over some fences and other small things. But yeah, not a lot of impressive use.

i've tried to hop up all around the outsdie of the Dunley walls to get the quartz, but for me it is just like the OP said. I just hop straight up and can't seem to get forward onto the ledges. Is there a special spot that works for you? Maybe if you could give me a hint as to which part of the wall specifically you can hop? Even just clock hands position for a reference would be helpful (even though I've tried all around the darn thing.) I'd really appreciate it, I'm so frustrated

Its unobvious but the frog jumps towards your mouse cursor, then same as other dash abilities. You can jump up any 1 height level walls / cliffs, and about half the screen distance wise. A little circle will appear as you click jump to show you where you will land. It is handy for travelling around in PVE and said above can be used to get into the travel caves and shortcut into lots of different areas that you normally would only be able to go in through the front / main entrance.

There aren't tons of places you can use it, but once you work out how it works its a nice extra tool in your toolkit.
