I feel like the game needs more gradual progression

At this point i have tried a failed for the last few days to make it past i level 31 i cant manage to get unsullied hearts for ♥♥♥♥ and cant get drops for merciless gear, i like this game but the hard wall the makes progress next to impossible is kinda unreasonable.

Unless im missing something in which case im open to what that is because playing this game is miserable right now.

That's some very useful information. Are there bosses like this for T2 and T3 too?

This is exactly why i dont bother with the game past hollowfang, its just not fun really, best to play a server for 1-2 days have lots of pvp fun then move onto a fresh server.

what to do vs homing missiles

Her missiles aren't homing, just curving. If you understand their trajectory you can dodge them 90% of the time, and if you hit 1-3 times during the fight it's not a problem since you should still win comfortably.

There will probably be things you are missing that aid a lot, blood quality for one, get high lev blood for higher stats but also the different classes you drink from will give a whole different set of stats too, workers boost gather rates, nuns boost magic powers etc. Choosing the right blood for the boss battles is a great help and will help swing those close battles your way. We do not need the game to be made easy, we need people to get smarter !!!

you try to help, thx. i know these things. i lost with a 100% warrior as well as a 63% brute vs the Pyrofreak and win with a low rogue (may be bloodmoon)... although couldn't resist the bandit King's offer of a 100% rogue that did not help me survive his rampage travel ... guess my faulty fingers are the bigger problem :)

Wait till you get to Azariel the Sunbringer... I can't even get to him. The patrols are all like 15 seconds apart, so if you get in a fight you'll end up fighting like 4 waves at the same time, and a lot of them have AOE damage and heals, so you're just being swarmed by nearly invincible enemies that are constantly healing each other and there are 10 riflemen spread all over the place firing at you, and the whole area is slowly killing you with AOE damage. And the only way to level your gear at this point seems to be to grind for schematics and random drops. I feel like the gear upgrades could be a little more substantial and that might help. Like I spent hours farming the materials to make dark silver, then hours smelting it, to get the tiniest damage increase. Even with 100% blood level I'm still just getting wiped. Also the fact that your equipment breaks so quick, and you have to keep taking breaks to farm repair material isn't my favorite

Thats the point, you want fish at late game for your livestock, not duplicated recipes, jewels or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hat.

Exactly the junk I do not need anymore at that point. I want fish for my 100% bloods, not duplicates of stuff I have already researched. Every trip to the city nets you like 150+ schematics and at least 2 books, so...

Those bosses can easily be done quite underleveled. Just grab some ok-ish v-blood and learn their telegraphed moves. Chose offensive / defensive skills based on enemy movesets and your own skill level. Easy progress. Those bosses are among the easier ones in the game, friend ;)

THX for destroying my illusion eventually. if the Bandit King and the Feywalker are the easier bosses, i'll better become a gardener, cheers ;)

LOL. The biggest patrol with 2 Lightweavers + 2 Riflemen you just ignore at first and the rest are easy. Once they are left you use either Heart Strike or Arctic Leap (Terrorclaw is one of the easiest bosses in the game) on them.

2 Clerics + Priest? You just dash in, strike one Cleric, Reaper Q, then Chaos Shield once they aggro and shoot, then focus down that Cleric with Reaper E and Chaos Volley -> Feed once low HP, repeat with the other Cleric then Priest.

Reaper E -> Shield -> Dash in -> Reaper Q -> Feed. Repeat.

and the whole area is slowly killing you with AOE damage.

Werewolf boss gives potion that makes this entire area (including the boss) trivial. Use Ward of the Damned once he starts rapid biting, then immediately do the Golem Ultimate once he starts swiping -> your Skeletons will be shielded and you can kill him with ease by just quickly spamming all buttons before he goes into the feeding phase.

You don't need any dark silver at first.

Only Silver Crossbow is any good, but that's only for it's "Q", and the rest of the weapons are just worse than the General's Reaper in PvE, so dark silver can wait until you get Sanguine. Put Dark Silver on Servants instead.

You certainly don't need any dark silver for this location, it's only good for Styx and the Shard bosses, mostly because of their GS.

You can farm unsullied hearts from characters you arleady killed. seems silly ik

If you're really struggling to get the gear don't overlook hitting up the bandit camps for the paper so you can work your way through your Research Desk learning random techs till you get your merciless gear. To make this go faster, you can run a route to take down the bosses in the various bandit camps for the unsullied hearts and more paper (and if you get duplicate books that's just more paper!). I do play solo, so this might be a tad more difficult in a pvp setting.
