How is toad form such a missed opportunity?

I've been playing through the game, and discovered the caves that act as warp points to other places on the map, but you have to jump down on the other side. I think to myself "well this is kinda pointless for getting around the map compared to portals"

Then I read toad form, and I'm like"oh okay that makes so much sense, toad form unlocks those caves as more useful warps"

But no. Toad form can't jump up cliffs. I tried searching through the forums, people are saying its for pvp? How? I can't jump over walls and palisades or onto balconies. It doesn't let you cross rivers. It doesn't do anything. How is this possible?

Agreed, I can't figure the damn thing out either. Id first read that you could jump (I mean its a frog so I get it) up to higher platforms but I've tried a ton of them and can't seem to figure it out. By far the worst form.

The only actual use I've seen of it was in a video where someone made a cool "hidden" place in its castle only accessible through the frog jump/bat form.

That's about it, really.

It's use in PVP is mostly on inexperienced players. Using Toads jump while standing on stairs can get you over garden fences and bypass walls if they only put up a couple right at the stairway. This works in PvE too incidentally, so anything you use garden fences for just consider as openly accessible to any player and don't put anything in them thats valuable.

it works its just worded poorly the toad form can jump 1 level the issue is most cliffs and fences are 2 level its works its just kinda pointless sadly

youll know when it workd cause it show a yellow circle showign where youll land

You use it to jump over small gaps in rivers and ponds. Tried it, it worked! Also, who cares. Its small comvience that saves about a tiny few seconds.

Personally Spider and Frog just need to get merged together for Jump and burrow.
Just like how Horse and Bat-form get merged for stats.

Frog form got gutted because it was so easy to bug and exploit castles with it.

maybe because it's not really a big deal??? You have a form that does only a couple things. Your idea would be to remove it entirely and decrease content? Should we make it OP?

I used to a few times when I first unlocked it and thought it was useless, and I've never used it since.
