V Blood Carriers - immunities?
Are V blood carriers immune to snares and other weapon "affects"? My buddy and I have been progressing through the game pretty solidly but we've hit a wall with Adam the First Born. Trying to think about different ways to handle him, and I was considering using the whip for its ability to apply a snare.

You can't snare/freeze them, no. IIRC, trying to freeze them does give you extra damage though. Regardless, you'll have to learn to dodge his attacks to win.

For Adam, most of this is obvious advice, but I'm gonna go over it anyway because a lot of people don't know the obvious.

Be gear level 89, obv.

Be using witch/rage/vampiric potions.

Find a 100% blood you like and is good; brute, scholar, rogue. For Brute and Rogue, beat up silverlight and catch anything 94+. For scholar, beat up both village chapels and both churches, wait 10 minutes, and repeat.

Focus the generators - which, in V Rising, means don't even hit him while generators are able to be hit.

Don't use a lot of skeletons, they'll just hit his counter and die to AoE.

Use and get used to a weapon with a dodge skill; pistol, slashers, greatsword.

Understand how duo dynamics work. You should be on voice comms; when one player gets low, they should step out of the arena to drop combat status and heal up to 100%. Whenever someone dies, the other person should be playing "just don't get hit" until they get back. If YOU die, you should be respawning at the nearest waygate and flying back in bat form, even in daytime; you should already have a Sun Resist potion up, and you should have a Blood Key Amulet in your inventory to hot-swap for +75 sun resist. You can bat form back to Adam after dying while only landing once in the middle.

From there, you can learn the fight. The easy attacks you should try to never get hit by, the tricky ones which might hit you and force you to heal.
