And probably also just to make you angry.
You can buy several new skins, new outfits, masks, lights, carpets, doors, floors, windows, fountains, statues, wallpapers, coffins, hairstyles, music tracks, and more.
Or you could spend twice as much for a recolor of a skin on a gun or something in other games.
Most of the stuff is castle building stuff, which I like, and the cloaks got more value with the layered armor system.
I do feel in similar way, I treat building seriously and I find it's best to have as many options as possible. However I also recommend getting just base game and building with what you have without DLC if you find them too pricy (which they are for sure, way too expensive honestly). The game itself is fantastic, I am currently playing solo brutal and in the future I plan on joining server with enhanced brutal setting.
Only in your mind, good sir. You've put up barriers and limits that only exist because you want those walls and boundaries to exist. Free yourself and enjoy the game for what it is, not what you need it to be.
