I've had every prisoner I tried it on mutate on the first exposure too... though, with my luck, that's just par for the course. Out of curiosity, did you do this 80-to-98 feat recently, or was it, say, before some recent patch that might have bugged the calculations?
And I keep 10 of the Dusk Caller stones on me and 6 available Jail Cells. I only have a 100% warrior blood type thrall. And as said above, trying to get a scholar. If I could have a choice it would be scholar and worker blood types. I always wondered what a worker blood type does and someone mentioned in discussions it increases mining attributes.
You could just drink any worker blood to check the stats. Even if it's 5%, you can see what you'll get with higher percentages. Afterwards you can drink your usual blood potion to continue your game.
keep killing people, so they respawn. most people seem to have better luck in the higher lvl areas.
MUAHAHA... i never had a single prisoner mutate!
