PvE AI Castle Invasions
I think it would be a great.

Brilliant idea for DLC or expansion too which I would love to see.

In prologue trailer we can see that humans and "light" fought against the darkness and vampires. So thematically it would make absolute sense to have AI armies being led by "AI Boss" to attack your castle. Perhaps a siege first, then sending in waves every day until they do final push or you counter-push them.

Only thing that would need expanding would be adding more traps-buildings ( snares, wire kits, boulders, fire traps, spike traps, spear traps etc etc ).

And better way to utilise our vampire pawns ( perhaps custom patrol orders/skills/visible changes to their gear )

More stuff like rat/skeleton spawner with more choices ( and better levels ).

Concept of Light armies organizing crusaders because you just ravaged and plundered too many farmlands or rumours from sudden shifts of power within bandit camps/forts. Could somehow increase the severity and chance to organize a crusade against the player.

Of course could come with some rewards and unlocks too. And hey not only humans could invade us.

Being on that site doesn't mean it's being considered at all. Many of the same suggestions were already made in early access and silently deleted without warning before 1.0 release.

NPC raids was in fact the 2nd most popular suggestion with 1k votes over 2 years:

See also crafting from chests, which we can assume has been rejected, but they won't state it in black and white so that people will continue to hope and waste their time voting and arguing about it.

Well asides from complaining about an issue & making an archive to deleted suggestion posts as if this were some kind of "social justice" case there two routes a normal person can take with this in any case...

1. Make the demand known to developers - see my initial comment.

2. Urge the official V Rising modding community to look into it.

In either respect, whether or not the developers are considering something or not is a moot point, as unless you're contributing to a solution you're just adding to banter that funnels into obscurity and amounts to nothing really. Considering that are numerous Steam posts on this topic already.

As for crafting from inventory say it doesn't become a reality as SLS isn't interested if you say so... However, it is a reality to some extent via the "Kindred Logistics" mod.

Solutions exist for those with the will & know how to patch them in, game engine constraints notwithstanding.
Man i would love to do coop castle defenses, be it tower defense with bosses in between.

Gotta put those blood halls into good use somehow. You could implementent humans aka Light or Bandits, perhaps Necromancers even.

To make invasion more dynamic and varied some faction could literaly open rift inside your castle where it would release enemies.
The castle has zero purpose in Single player without NPC raids.

Most similar games do this (Conan Exile, Valheim, 7days to die), so there is no reason for them to not implement it.

Also funnily enough, this game is a perfect fit for this mechanic due to the peasants and militia assaulting your castle with pitchfork, and also other factions like undead could raid your castle.

Highly thematic.
This would be awesome, I imagine, it would have two options either "start fight" or you can give money/loot to delay the attack or "bide them away", but make it super costly for those trying to avoid the fight, could be like a couple vampire hunters attack your base or a band of townsfolk with pitch forks lol
