its still functional, but its like moving into your garage that has a full bathroom and a kitchenette, yeah its functional... but uhh...
you don't miss out by building an arms warehouse. I seen a guy with a box, that had a level 5 heart in his castle.
On official servers, you may have random player intruders try to get into your place if it's not properly sealed off or enclosed. Private game servers, it'll just be you or whoever you decide to invite.
Decorations are nice and everything, but you really don’t miss any part of the game by building efficiently.

it absolutely does let you build a nice castle lol, you just gotta have imagination. less arms warehouse, more "1400s epic building"
Maybe my wording was a bit confusing. What I meant was that you cannot really appreciate your build from afar and from all angles as you can in other games due to perspective. As I already mentioned I do like the building a lot and find it to be very fitting.
It just isn’t as enjoyable to me as in other games.
Won't matter unless you play PvP server and get base raided.
