Available for family sharing but unable to play

Why is this game available to be shared but upon launch tells you that you do not own it and can't play it. Wanted to test it a bit and maybe buy it to play with a friend. Result is i am just not bothering with it. Sadge

I think what they mean is that it shouldn't say that Family Sharing is available, so they will need to fix the error that says Family Sharing is actually a feature.

It's possible this studio is deliberately tricking consumers into purchasing under the assumption family sharing is enabled when in fact it is not. This should be an incredibly simple thing to fix for the publisher which suggests they are being deliberately malicious.

then you should remove the family share tag on steam store. this is just scummy. and also saying that you will fix it ( which we all know is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ) stop sugarcoating and be transparent to people who actually wanted to buy your game.

They actually did it. It is playable now via family sharing. I retract my statement and shall buy the game asap (if i do like it that is).
