How does the story progress?

Does V Rising have quests with unique stories and NPCs to interact with? Are there main quests and secondary quests?

There is no story. Just bits of lore to be found in the game, but no quests, no important interactions.

This might change in some form with the 1.0 update coming in 5 weeks, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

You follow a line of special charakters who needs to be killed and all have there biography written but apart from that you make your own story.

As with many other things in the game, it's very unfinished and doesn't have a story outside of incoherent text lore dumps for bosses.
