From what I recall something to the effect of, let's say you have a chest dedicated to plants, ores ,whatever, once you get in base you can just drop your loot into their respective chests by a button - or something like that.
I don't think they explained why not craft from chests though.
I'm not even sure it would make the game better. Just become ogranized, and its no prob.
So I do not support this message.
Also like most things in this game, they need to factor the PvP balance on it, emergency doors repairs during a raid would be a lot easier with something like this.
I'd like the feature, or some kind of qol in this vein, but I'm not bothered if it's not added.
I've played enough games where you have to have the stuff in your inventory, the handful of games that allow you to do it otherwise are outliers.
Honestly, seeing how hard they have been ignoring the top 10-20 feature requests with the EA now ending, i won't be holding my breath. They have been neglecting the community pretty hard this entire time.
You are in the minority with this mindset.
Due to stack sizes being tiny, you still need rows upon rows upon rows upon rows of cabinets even as a solo player. Organization is not the issue here, it's the sheer amount of resources and junk in the game that's needed for a multitude of different things which makes crafting an unnecessary pain in the behind, hence, people want to craft from containers which is a more than reasonable request.
You don't craft doors, you build them.. And you require bricks/planks to do so which are refined resources, not crafting stuff.
First, I dont care - and second, can you prove that statement?
I dont have this problem at all. I dont need stacks and stacks of containers. I dont feel overwhelmed by the amount of different resources «required». I can see how fresh players do, but as they learn the game that feeling should diminish a LOT over time. I dont find crafting to be a pain in the behind, instead I see value in being, organized and effective, while at the same time I feel lazy QOL additions like this would be, reverse that.
I think you and players like you might benefit from being more organized and spend that little extra time to refine resources as they come in, which can be done with very little time - even without mods, if you succeed at the first point. At that point youd realize you dont really need to stash that much resources and crafting isnt really such a pain in the end afterall. Atleast I believe so.
At the end of the day, we are all different and these viewpoints are evidence of that. Ive literally played on servers with stash mods and never even used them because they caused more issues than without. But you would probably love it.
Sounds like someone isnt organized well enough or have built their castle inefficiently.
If you really didn't care, you wouldn't have replied, nor would you have asked for proof.
Said proof can be found here: https://feedback.playvrising.com/
Good for you, Mr Anecdotal Fallacy. The game has quite literally hundreds of different kinds of items and materials that you actively need to craft with regularly. Assuming you only keep a few stacks of each, you're still looking at 20-40 containers MINIMUM + workbenches + refinery stations.
It's an absolute clusterfudge and the majority of the player base is sick and tired of it.
So no thanks, i prefer to actually organize and not be lazy, part of the planning.
