Do V Blood bosses drop anything?

Can I farm them for books or something? I killed one 4 times and it droped nothing

They have better loot than the average mob, but considering the time investment for most of them, farming them isn't really that great. In the time it takes to kill 1 v blood, you could have killed 2 dozen other random mobs and looted half a town.

They drop stuff. Jewels, books, resources sometimes. It's random. I wouldn't rely on it as a farming method personally.

Unsullied hearts are higher chance to drop i think.

They can, but it's RNG based.
Grayson the Armourer is the one with the most chances of dropping books. Most of them have a high chance for an unsullied heart. But all in all, I don't see many reasons to farm bosses, going towards a press to unlock all recipes via paper is less of a hassle.

I think random objects can drop books too, or crates and barrels, unless i imagine it since trhere was enemies too

Didn't bosses used to drop weapons as well? i remember farming 3 late game bosses for the perfect weapon row, but now i don't see a single weapon from bosses only books.

You're right. Crates and other objects have a chance to drop materials (sometimes, even rare ones like gold jewels and recipe books, so it's always a wise strategy to break everything you come across.

V bosses have higher quality loot, and can drop a skill gem or magic weapon at higher levels. They aren't loot pinatas and only drop a few things. The main reward is the progression unlock.

From my personal experience... Ransack every village and open every cupboard and chest you can find. Especially that small village in south Gloomrot, I occasionally find tier 3 jewels and other goodies in those houses.

they use to drop them fairly regularly, now it's quite rare as the primary source for them was changed to rift incursions and stygian vendors.

depends on the boss, some have guaranteed drops for at least one jewel, gem, book or busted weapon, others aren't even guaranteed to drop anything.

Gotta feeling they purposely don't make them loot pinata's so people wont farm them, and prevent others from making any progress. They do seem to drop unsullied hearts a lot of the time.
