Host Transfer?

I hosted a world for me and my brother to play, but he has more time than I do and we progressed quite far to start over.

Is there a way to give the world to him so he doesnt have to wait for me to play? I know the files are locally saved but If I share the local files, will that overwrite his character and he'll end up playing with the character I created? or will he be loading in with the character he had from the start?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Also, he has a better PC, so the server would probably run smoother if he hosted it (which is what we shouldve done to begin with)
