Wish they made servants a bit more "alive". Simple things, like having them interact with things in the castle, do gardening, take things into the storage boxes and so on.
Having them as party members I'm not sure if possible, could disrupt the balance and force them to make enemies harder to compensate. Could be done with a dynamic difficulty that takes into account how many servants you carry or something.
They're simply a way to get rid of your old and outdated gear sets but also give you reasons to go into the world searching for high blood humans, also gives you a reason to come back to the game, IE come check out what my guys showed up with. Doing it this way was extremely cheap on a technical level for them to implement and adds a lot, imo.
I get wanting to see them in the world doing stuff but that's an expensive request on a technical level.
think about how you aren't having to go out and farm basic resources though
I like it
If it's not useful to you, don't use it I guess. *shrug*
