about brutal achievements and server settings
The question is that I changed the difficulty on my private server after passing it on normal, to try on brutal and although the difficulty is noticeable, it did not tell me the achievement of act 1, I beat all the blood v and I did not get the achievement, I have Should I start from scratch to count it? And second, when I try to modify the damage multiplier and spells it doesn't seem to change anything, I do the same damage, what changes by modifying those options? Thank you

I have same problem, I was going thru game on normal Mode, then before every final boss from acts switching on brutal, i did it thru act 1, 2, 3, then i want to speed up my progress and skip boss from act 4 and start killing bosses from act 5. Later i switch to brutal Mode to kill final boss from act 4 too get achievement, but it didn't work.
Tried it again on another server with same results, so i assume you need to beat it and close every act on brutal Mode

You'll have to craft new weapons and armor for the modifiers to work anytime you change it

Sorry for the delay in answering but I found a simpler solution, just create a new server, start with maximum equipment and level 90, and go directly to the final bosses of each act, there is no need to do everything again, this worked for me and finally completed the achievements

If you want the achievements you have to start and finish the main bosses on Brutal. Can't switch half way through or it won't count. Can cheese it though like the post above me said and start with level 90 gear and just bum rush the bosses.

I got 100% on the game on brutal mode. Before setting foot outside the crypt I changed the settings in the file to be more solo friendly(more HP for player, slightly more str/mag damage, a bit more move speed, V enemies to 1.4 damage). My goal was to keep all the brutal changes to boss attack patterns, but make it less annoying to solo. So it was more like hard mode.

I had no problem with any brutal achievements popping up. You could probably set the enemy scaling back to normal levels and still get the brutal achievements as long as you picked brutal initially.
