Blood burst while traveling

Searched everywhere but couldn't find an answer as to what the random bursts of blood off your character are when traversing around. I assume it's maybe a proximity indicator of some kind but would appreciate a solid answer if somebody has one, thanks.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, are you using dodge skill (spacebar) by any chance?

I think i know what you talking about, if i'm right, it's just a bug were you have a effect of the invulnerable buff, use a teleport to teleport another place, you will see around you the same 'burst of blood' and a buff saying : invulnerable from pvp damage, somethings like that.

It could be the teleportation debuff. after you travel via waygate you can't teleport again for 5 seconds, once the 5 seconds are up a burst of blood shoots off you

Its happened to me a couple times too, I figure its a graphic glitch as its pretty rare doesn't seem to do anything and seems to happen for no reason. Just traveling in wolf form no enemies around no abilities used and suddenly big blood splatter.

Happened to me to a couple of times.
I was running around for some time when there was suddenly this 'burst'
Yes it is similar to the effect of wearing off teleportation buff but without teleportation.
No it is not the V blood tracer

For me, I noticed it happened before blood moon, so could it be an indication for that?

Yeah, I'm wondering what that is too. Just happens randomly when on the road and just general travel. No enemies or combat or nothing around me. Just *blawt* blood everywhere. Reminds me of anime shows with lots of gore and the poor sap that gets whacked has a massive blood blast. High blood pressure i guess.

I don't know what causes it, but I think it usually happens when I run far enough to exit combat in wolf form

That is the teleport animation, it's fine, just ignore it :)
