Ancestral Weapons skills
Has anyone seen an Ancestral Weapon with an infusion on skill E (second skill, such as pistol explosive shot)? And if not, why?

This makes them kind of limiting since all weapons share a skill cooldown. It sucks having my pistols and crossbow both be Q, as opposed to having pistol have an infusion for E so that I can mix things up with weaken or static or whatnot.

wtf is infusion on skill?

Ancestral weapons that you can repair have 'infusions' on skills, i.e leech on crossbow's rain of bolts. Using rain of bolts will inflict leech (or whatever other elemental fusion it has) on any enemies it hits.

The issue I'm asking about is whether or not others have found an ancestral weapon that infuses the SECOND skill, and not the FIRST one (i.e, rain of bolts). I haven't found a single one and it's kinda bumming me out lol.

There are some uniques that do that.

Uniques meaning orange weapons, but not all of them. Pistols apply Chaos on E.
Axes do not. I do not have other weapons so no idea about the rest.

But since these are uniques all attributes are set in stone, you cannot have non-Blood Axes and non-Chaos Pistols.

I have found both a leech and an illusion ancestral crossbow, so that is not correct all and I think you're misunderstanding my concern: Are there any ancestral weapoons that buff skill 2, instead of only buffing skill !?

have beem grinding them for a while and I do believe they only ever modify the first skill. Intended or not, I have no idea

Someone should post a feedback post about changing this, it severely limits ancestral weapons as a mechanic in my opinion.

I would do so myself but I tend to have bad luck getting any traction with such posts.

I think you are confusing post 1.0 orange weapons with pre 1.0 orange weapons.

pre 1.0 orange == 1.0 purple

post 1.0 orange are very different from purple and are completely set in stone. Their name is the same (even if you have 2 of them), all rolls are max and exactly the same, and their "infusion", i.e. attribute on hit is the same.

They also have unique effects on both skills. Like Axes Q lasts for 1 seconds more, essentially allowing you to deal 2 quick full 3-hit combos instead of 1. Pistols can cast E a second time and detonate immediately if you hit the same target, and unlike vanilla Pistols you can actually move during Q, albeit at 40% speed of your original speed.

If I could post a screenshot without having to actually save and upload them to show you that I have a leech infused crossbow and an illusion one, as well as a static infused pistols and a unholy one, as well as a chaos infused greatsword and another I cannot remember, I really really would.

I am not confusing anything at all, and the 'infusion' is an element. I am not talking about oranges at all in the slightest I am talking about Blues.
