New soul shard system is absolutely terrible.
No longer a buff and is turned into an accessory. However you still cannot fly with it, what's worst is it decays even when not in use! So many negatives warrant it not being very usable outside of invasions.

Same. Haven't downed Adam yet, but I wont touch these ever. The decay is too fast, and they dont refill fast enough. I had one that was at 0 durability and four T2 rift drains got it halfway. I'll pass. You also cannot bat form with it which is stupid on a PvE server (which I only play on)

That would a nice balance. So PVP or unique, it works like it does now but PVE and Plentiful, it only gets damaged over time when in use.

shards are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. people just run away while wearing them. attacking their castle solves nothing. they just run away etc. what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mech . rework it ffs. usually a mobmobmobmob from east that has 40 players coalition on servers own everyone of these and you cant even steal them or contest them anyway.

So i just came back after 3 days camping and my soulshards are at 0 aaaaaaaaaaaand i can't repair them on pve. Yeah gg devs G ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ G

you can repair them by doing lv2 incursions. that doesnt change the fact that they are pretty useless compared to other options in PvE

Its better than the old system, the worst thing about them is the fact that they force you to use their unique ultimate IMO, they should also increase damage to vbloods and players, it says vampires which is confusing.. does it work for dracular?

My numbers were the same when I had the unholy one equipped. I was testing this on regular mobs and Dracula but It didn't seem to increase damage at all. Like posted above, it's a pvp stat.

They could at least give the old Benefits from the soul shards before with the amulet and let us choose what Stats we want with what amulet. Or make it to where the stats can be obtained but the Amulet cant be Taken out of the Pedestal until the stats die off and it consumes durability. when the durability wears out you can't wear the amulet or get stat boost.

I prefer the old system with passive buffs over carrying the shards around and only the dracula shard actually seemed worth using

not really. its better for PvP while throwing PvE viability completely out of the window. just like in EA stunlock cared more for PvP than for PvE by changing this listening to the cries of people called it overpowered in PvP. this is not the solution.

I also liked passive skills better.
In any case, the decay is too fast, especially on dedicated servers - it's useless there now.
The server is always running and when I come back 2 days later, it's destroyed.
Such a hassle and then only usable for a day - why the hell?

At least it shouldn't expire in the special holder, otherwise what purpose would they have? Or it should be adjustable how quickly they expire.

All new system is terrible. Shards, legendary price, jewels lvl4 price, passives and all. First version v rising miss you

its almost as this game was advertised as a pvp survival game with a vampire aesthetic.
