Crafting needs to pull of from the storage & not just from inventory
To the devs, please implement this QOL feature.

It's incredible that they still haven't implemented this, and still haven't implemented 'Take X', to take EXACTLY 40 of something or so.

yeah this seems like a no brainer in any of these sorts of games these days.....

Not sure if they ever intend to implement mod support for this game.. I know with other similar games, mods took care of it... but yeh...

Incredible? I can't even name 3 games that do this with out mods lol. Its still blows my mind how people still act like it standard issue when I only seen it in 2 games and it was a mod that some times didn't work that great lol Wait wait no I seen it in 2 moded survial games. Then in My time at Portia, and its sequal game. So I know 2 offical games that do this out of the 600+ I own, and 2 with mods that do it lol.

I mean its no brainer how to grab things and craft it you even got new types of conatiners to sort them easier... Like never thought to myself "uh no take from boxes lame!" Its more like "oh ♥♥♥♥ forgot this game does that!" On the 2 games i own that do, and 2 modded ones that do lol

Oh there are...SO many man!

Stardew Valley(Item needed), Enshrouded(magic chest needed), Grounded, ARK and many many more.

Does this game need it? No,not really, in some games it bothers me, in this it really doesnt. It doesnt have an INSANE amount of materials, and we only store items in the room it belongs, example beeing a blacksmith room, all ores, ingots etc goes in there, it has its charm.

When games have 100000000000000000000 crafting materials, it gets tedious.

I disagree heavily here. V Rising has more materials than a lot of other survivals I've played, and worst of all the materials are extremely convoluted. Needing to get A, B, C, Materials to make D Material, then get W, X, Y Materials to make Z Material. Then combine D, Z, and H material to make a weapon.

Not to me, i feel this games materials are easy to manage and place where needed. In some other games, it just goes out of control. Its all about management really, usually im bothered by it but not in this game. Its been this way so long so we kinda have a habit of putting stone directly into the grinder etc, and materials in the rooms they belong, everytime we arrive at base.

V rising materials are extremely simple compared to other games. Most resources don't even chain up that much compared to other games.

Some games do really need this feature but this isn't one of them. The mass storage boxes let you store all your items easily without trouble. Spending 30 seconds to load a furnace or a grinder isn't that extreme of an ask.

If you are having trouble with item storage and organization you need to rethink your base design and layout. All your crafting rooms should be next to each other anyway and worse case scenario having to go grab a gem once to craft a weapon you make a grand total of 1 time isn't enough to warrant wifi crafting.

Pretty much this, its EASY to organize in this game, as most materials dont "cross over" into other workshops, so they are rather effortless to manage and place where needed.

Some people just arent organized, this goes for in games and real life. Me, im organized and i like to know where my stuff is, my brother....oh lord, no hope.

Then make it a server option and keep it disabled. If your superior organizing skills are a boon play on a server where you have to do everything manually and allow us peasants to use the suggested feature on our servers.

But you didn't help at all...

This always bugs me about gamers. Just because they don't have an issue with it, it's not a problem.

No, that's not correct at all.

More options is always a good thing. Always. Why anyone would be against more options beats me. Unless someone is trying to force you to play their way, then it shouldn't matter to you.

I mean you're argument doesn't even make sense. You're organized so the game can't pull from storage automatically? What kind of logic is that?

Never said i was against it, i just explained what i do and how easy it is, but you clearly just want this to be an unfixable issue.

Again, write to the devs, maybe they will listen and implement that as an option, im all for it.

Coming in here and arguing with other players solves nothing when its not even a feature in the game, and you WILL end up getting their opinions on it.

Honestly, at this point I wouldn't put it in the game of I were the devs for no other reason that the fact people create this exact same topic at least once every day or so.

It seems the people who are too lazy to organize their chests are the same people who are too lazy to do a search and find the countless duplicate topics created about the same thing.

It's one thing to necro a topic from a few years ago, it's another to comment on a topic that was active less than 24 hours ago.

They are also too lazy to know or find out that a mod that does this already exists lol.

To be fair, that would require them to use something like Google, and we know they can't even use the search on here. God forbid they open a browser.
