I don't understand passive skills

Are these skills linked to the spells or do they have nothing to do with it? I mean, isn't it necessary to use certain spells for the passive skills to work?

some of thier effects only apply to a certain elemental attack and will say so in thier discription.

but stuff like +10% more dmg vs V bloods is just a generel passive. same for the blood type boost. as why would they be related to skills to begin with? makes no sense.

Can you tell me what are the other passives that don't need spells? apart from those two that you mentioned please

Movement speed after damage, cooldown reduction on bite, resistance to everything etc

just read thier discription. its not rocket science^^ like +10 all elemental resistence speaks for itself dont you think?
