After end game content

Hello everybody!

What is the endgame gameplay loop? I'm curious about what activities are available after defeating the final boss.

Additionally, will there be new content added? Perhaps expansions similar to those in World of Warcraft?

Once you've killed every boss and crafted the best gear, there is no endgame content outside of roflstomping stuff for fun or castle decorating (assuming you play PVE only, PVP is a whole other thing ofc)

They haven't officially stated there would be a new expansion, but they said that they are not finished at 1.0. So there will surely still be content added down the line.

There is no endgame, the game was designed around clans, raiding and pvp.

The bosses and loot only serve to bolster your power to kill other people.
In PVE its just a boss checklsit then done. Thats it.

there is nothing to use the best gear on. tbh it was pretty silly to lock the best armor set behind the final 4 bosses. kind of defeats its point entirely. its purely a trophy set at that point.

still cool game. but the longlivety is just not there. its not a sandbox game afterall.

i am glad it came out now. just enough time to play trough the new content before valheim ashlands goes live and then elden ring strikes again anyway.
