Cant beat Maja in Brutal multiplayer

This boss is singlehandedley sucking the fun out of the game for me and my 2 friends. We've tried upwards of 4hrs to kill her, even ignoring her a bit and going to kill the other 2 level 50 bosses with no issues. She is imo so much harder than any previous boss due to the constant book and demon spam, on top of being able to heal.

Not like we can go and get better gear anyhow since she unlocks the study, so no gear carry there. We're just on the verge of giving up. Tips and advice welcome

Avoid using summons as she'll frequently throw ink in their faces to spawn her own minions. Use counter or barrier spells to negate her attacks. When she chooses a minion to consume, focus it quickly so it won't heal her.

I found her to go from nigh invincible to beaten without even taking damage once I focused on staying at range. Bow, 2 ranged spells, and some careful movement avoided all attacks. Hardly had to deal with any adds the entire fight.

Works for me too honestly, will struggle with something, complain to my friends on discord, and then immediately win the next time I try it. Afterwards, I appreciate how amazing the boss truly was (ignore me calling it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the whole time I was fighting it :^) )

No summons and long bow. You can simply walk around the circle of the tower as you shoot. As long as you can kill the spawns before she pulls them in you can kill her without taking a single hit.

Just like in normal difficulty, maja is by far one of the easiest bosses. If you struggle at her in brutal, its only gonna get vastly harder for the future bosses. Maybe youre not ready for it.
