Keep in mind different bosses are easier to kill with different weapons and spells and be ready to change up your style during the fight. If you lose, you can always change your spells to better suit the fight then try again.
A lot of bosses rely on just getting the timing right for dodging their attacks. Even which Dash you have equipped can make dodging their stuff easier. (Like the pink dash gives you double dash) Your max HP can lower but if there's a big black bar you can always disengage and drink an HP pot to restore a bit.
I would recommend trying to pull her away from her group. her agro range is larger than the others. When she is walking at the back of her group you can pull her away. Try and get her in one of the forest bits so you dont get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by a patrol
Because I did her solo on normal and she wasn't that hard. When she gets on her block of ice, I use the mace and circle arround here while hitting it. The rest of the fight I use a bow and let her fight the skelletons that spawn from corrupted skull. Though I have to say that this game becomes much easyer if you fight bosses mostly ranged, and use the other weapons just for mobility purposes.
The adds can often be more dangerous though which is why I kill them first when they can't be ignored.
Funny thing is you can have so much mobility now with not just weapons, but Spells, like Power Surge, normally kinda meh, but with a Spell Gem in it, now it's a Shield and a Movement Speed buff.
Changing your spellbook up can drastically change a fight and if you're having problems with one just equip a bunch of Defensive spells and get used to dodging the mechanics of the fight and don't worry about DPS, find when the openings are.
I did like 5-10 attempts so far. No luck yet. I just can't wiggle the camera around to avoid patrols joining in.
The biggest trick that helped me was learning to dodge her crossbow -when she's aiming, stand still, and just move a little bit when you hear the draw release. I also got a brief assist from a bear that she angered - it only took her a few seconds to kill it, but it gave me a few precious seconds to get some solid damage in.
Impossible? Far from it. I struggle with the combat in this game on m&k, even after 100+ hours because I have pretty poor hand to eye co-ordination.
But that fight was pretty easy. Clear out the adds first, you want to fight her on her own. You also want to wait until you're properly equipped before facing her, there's nothing worse that trying to take out a boss with the wrong equipment.
As for the fight itself, just keep on the move all the time and then strike with whatever weapon you feel most comfortable with when she finishes an attack pattern. Most of the bosses, if not all of them, are simply a case of memorising their attack patterns.
Merciless iron crossbow + Merciless Iron Sword.
Spells were just Chaos Volley, Corrupted Skull, and Army of the Dead.
Here's the plan:
1. Ignore her. Kill the patrol sqaud.
2. Run away so it drops combat.
-Now she is walking around by herself-
3. Pull her into an area where you arent gonna run into more partols. you dont have to run around a lot for her, just enough. If there are rocks you can circle around, the spot is perfect. You can use them to block her shots
4. Use the Crossbow Q and E when you can while attack her. Use Chaos Volley on Cooldown and same witth at least 1 corrupted skull. save one if you need to give yourself a chance to heal.
5. find out which of her moves is hardest for you to handle, and use your dodges for that.
6. When she jumps on the ice pillar, swap to sword. Keep attacking the pillar while moving in a circle around it, and just move away when she does the melee area of effect attacks, then come back in.
7. Use army of the undead to start the fight and then when its off cooldown.
Should work pretty well. I find keep her line of sighted with rocks while attack with the crossbow works wonders. Then swap to melee for the pillar. I found that being at range when shes on the pillar is the worst. And, as always, kill any adds first.
This was my strat, in a nutshell. I did a few things differently, didn't use crossbow, but laid on the spell attacks while using weapon based mobility to avoid some of her cheaper moves.
