How to craft glass?

I read it is unlocked after killing the Sun Priestess but it seems this was before 1.0
I killed her and the recipe is still locked.

Glass is required quite early in the game, just after finishing Act I, at about level 40+
Since then I killed all 40ish bosses and I am level 50 already.
I checked all bosses I can view (which are in my level range) and none of them seems to unlock glass crafting

Am I missing something? Well obviously :D but what?

level 50 boss Grethel the Glass blower is the boss you need to kill.

you can't do that if you don't have the recipe.

you dont need glass that early, and if so just get it in crates from bandit camps. you need to kill the glass blower in the top left of the farmlands, theres a lot of quartz too.
