Can't respawn after death

Hi, I have the problem that when I die in the game, I can't respawn at a portal or in my coffin right away. I can only respawn after a few minutes. We're playing together in our own world in a clan. We thought it might be a server error, so we created a new game and started over from scratch. At first, everything seemed to be going well, but now we're facing the same problem again—I can't respawn immediately after dying. My friend doesn't have this problem, but he's also the host of the game. I've already tried reinstalling the game, but that didn't help either. Does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix this error? Thanks in advance for the feedback :)

Hey guys, u both unlocked special game mode called HARDCORE! You were chosed amoung millions others to enjoy it! Hope you are having fun and don't forget to recreate world each time u die!

This exact thing is happening to me, me and a friend were playing Brutal mode and we made it to the geomancer. I died, and I couldn't respawn. I logged out, closed the game, and completely closed steam. When I got back in it still wouldn't let me rejoin. I really hope that this gets fixed soon, and that we don't have to restart everything.

There is a timer when you die. You don't get to revive instantly. If you die repeatedly you get put on an even longer respawn timer. You might want to check server settings.

So my friend had this same problem. I'm not sure if this fixed it but I banned his character then unbanned him and he could then respawn. He did rejoin and quit multiple times to try to fix this so I'm not sure if it was just a time thing

Bump. I'm also running into this problem after dying in my friend's world. Choosing to respawn will bring up the world map but I can't select any location to respawn in
