Controller's camera control
Should be right stick. How was this overlooked? Someone in the dev department has gotta be asleep at the wheel.

It's a bit funky for sure but just gotta get used to quick tapping (y) to adjust the camera. With the aiming mechanic i don't really see a way around it.

You get used to it, but it would be nice if they gave the option and then used triggers for build mode as it’s kind of required there.

how about aiming and attacking in the direction your walking, it all just seems poorly fit for controller

After abandoning my M&K for this one I have been practicing hard to use a controller. I'm doing pretty well apart from keep myself pointing in the way I'm facing, same thing that plagues the M&K. As you know it makes combat extremely clunky. I wish you could lock the target or something so that at least you could hit them.
I'm there in the middle of 3 wolves and I'm missing them all because my character is pointing in the wrong direction.

On controller you use right stick as aim direction like a twin stick shooter.

forget controller for this game.
As soon as you use ranged weapons in longer fights you will know why.
Switching then to Mouse feels like turning on cheats.
Controller Cam and Aiming is VERY close to unplayable here.

Im aware (in my case) its a ME issue, ive never enjoyed M&K. Controller has always been more comfortable to play with.

Yep. Am used to this now. Just a quick tap (y) works well

It’s a ME issue for me too, so don’t feel alone. If I had my way, I would love to control camera movement with the right stick, have an auto-lock on mechanic for the nearest enemy with a tap of Y or a bumper to toggle enemies. Simples.

Both systems are bad, they were indeed asleep at the wheel when they dreamt up these controls Try both and go with the one that's the most comfortable, that is all you can do, The dev's are not listening. They are the sort of dev's that know best if you get my meaning. You will write with your feet and walk on your hands because we are boss.

Using right stick for the camera rotation feels natural, the Y button camera thing feels like someone was trying to re-invent the wheel.

Why deviate from conventions that are proven to work?

Its the same as inventing a new web browser, but requiring users to shift-click links to browse to them. Works, but begs the question... why?

The worse thing is not having enemy lock for the camera in boss fights. I'd REALLY like a toggle to lock the camera direction to player movement though.
