Yea, I had misunderstood that and quickly erased it. It's a valid point.
And this is a valid point too. No matter how people organize things, people will always find way to group up together and kill their enemies.
Having it solo, however, makes things harder for those because they wouldn't have friendly fire between themselves.
But even so, the absence of clans for such players will still add a friendly fire, for example, the inability to build objects at a friend castle, open doors, and other little things that will make the game as uncomfortable as possible (and create the need for a friend to develop partly independently)
At least it would be much easier for me to play on such a server than on duo, trio, etc
A "dungeon finder" type of mechanic until the slots are full. Yes, absolutely, sounds fun.
