Does anyone else have a hard time going from act 1 to act 2?
Or am I just bad? It feels like a big jump in difficulty compared to act 1.

There is quite a jump, but if you put all your abilities to use you'll manage it. Some tips as you're making your foray into Act 2:
- Go out at night, as there's less shade in the farmland
- Raid smaller farms with fewer guards to get Cotton for armor.
- Find random iron nodes around the map, instead of rushing into the mines before you're geared up.
- Focus on getting 1 Iron weapon and a full set of improved armor before trying to take on bosses. Iron weapons give you a new "E" attack in addition to the "Q" from the copper tiers.
- Be wary of garlic buildup, it gets worse the longer you're around it. (you can see a 0-100 stack icon near your hotbar. It's punishing)
- Getting quality blood can be difficulty if you're famished. No shame in hunting some creature blood before moving back to humans. Don't fight faint.

Hopefully those tips help! Show those villagers who's boss!

It's a bit rough, but it gets better. Do what you can to quickly upgrade your weapons to iron and your armor to hollowfang. The increase in strength, health, and gear score will help you start your journey through the rest of the area.

And focus down those fire archers fast. Damn, they hurt.

I came back into the game. They gave the bosses some new moves, but still getting by easy enough. :sunekosuri:

It honestly felt like the bosses were out of order this whole playthrough. Like all the undead bosses in A1 are 10x harder than the last boss of A1...

Not really but yeah even in EA i felt some bosses was out of order but i did never have any problem with them maby only with ones that do sun/silver damage early.

I don't know what it is, but I actually had a much easier time killing the Bandit King than I am trying to kill Nicholaus in the cemetery. I know we are supposed to utilize a full range of abilities at our disposal, but for whatever reason, I can't kill Nicholaus. However, it wasn't until I tried killing Vincent that I realized this game isn't for me when it comes to soloing. Vincent is on steroids and has made the game too frustrating for me.

Solo play benefits from summoner build it alleviated a lot of the pressure on me.

I've had to began abusing the skeleton summons to help with bosses like Vincent (and a lot of kiting) due to how aggressive the freeze status is at hammering home why resistance potions exists. Getting frozen and losing half your healthbar as he makes horrible puns made me hate this guy so much.

Thanks for those tips.

I feel stuck with the Hallowfangs armor set as the bosses are 3 gear lvl ahead of me (playing hardest diff). I just brought Vincent to 1/3 of his life and the ammount of life i loose with 1 hit is tremendous.

How do you get the Iron at first? I have the Merciless copper mace and it says my lvl is too low.
Is there something I'm missing or it's just the difficulty lvl that is tremendous and there's no way around it?

A Merciless copper weapon can hit iron ores - But you have t o actually have it equipped and be hitting the ore with that specific weapon.

I thought the first node in the West North on the left of the two rogues was Iron. It must be something higher then. Thanks!

Yes, i guess you found the deep vein. Normal iron can be found mostly in and outside the haunted iron mine (Farmlands south)
