three quick questions

1. is there town portal type spell like in diablo?
2. is there an auto move button?

I’m sure you’ll get better answers , but movement is wasd keys only, aim with mouse, there seem portal stones spread out, third question no idea

1. There is no portal spell. You can build a portal in your base and there portals in the world but but you cant use them if you carry specific items.
You can use them to get faster to your destination but after you are done farming you have to walk/ride back.

There is a setting to disable it but its by default on and the official Server have it enabled.

2. Yes.

3. Dont know but do you use a controller or is it plugged?

It's not detecting your controller or keyboard properly. It thinks it something else. It done that with my controller so I plugged it back in and had it detect controller again and it then worked.

In future exploration, I suggest either teleporting your castle near areas you want to explore, or creating a tiny castle with a teleporter near where you plan to explore and teleporting that around.
