Is the base building still fairly generic?

Tried V Rising in EA and just couldn't have fun because of the simplicity of the base building. I mean like gathering logs and stone, and other really basic stuff like that when I'm a vampire lol. How is the base building now? Does it feel thematic and inspired? How much "collect 20 stones" is there?

Still lots of wood and stone. You could bump up resource gathering and refinement rates to make it easier, though.

No change there, just more workbenches and decor to build yourself a pretty vampire castle.
