Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Based on that logic, Super Mario Bros. (the original) is "dead", despite millions of people still playing it to this day.
and as far as pvp mode goes you know how that works. fresh wipe server and the no lifers seek them out like bloodhounds and by the time you log back in the next day to your sweet wooden fort you made at level 25 the no lifer crew already has all 3 shards and full legendaries and is camping the copper mine because they are "bored" and will raid you the second the raid window opens
lol
game is DOA until proc gen maps are out
oh wait.
I miss them too.
after 100 hrs of no-lifeing the game, cutting off every resource point, and griefing everyone until they leave "their" server that they honestly think they own
It's a difficult balance to be fair. The Devs best bet is some sort of procedural late game content and/or organised server/ clan wars even on PvE servers.
The fact that the younger generation of gamers equate "finishing a game" to being "dead and should be refunded" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mindbogglingly asinine.
