Is PVE fun enough to play coop?

I want to play this game with my GF but we dont really want any pvp. Is it fun without the pvp part of the game?

When I checked last night, only half of the PvE servers had some people, but in pvp every server had max capacity plus some of them had queue. This game is mainly fun for pvp, I got bored very fast in PvE. Dunno if I want to play pvp solo tho.

Yup, I've completed the game solo, 2 times in coop (pvp with 1 friend and pve with another) and looking to do it again but with a bigger group this time. Game can be enjoyed however you want to. (all before 1.0 ofc)

yeah, and you can play private too so you dont have to worry about where you build or people griefing

My partner and I play on our own private server. its a fun game co-op. And if you're like me and just want to build ♥♥♥♥, instead of collecting basic mats. you can adjust the server settings, to make personal adjustments. such as drop rates, gathering rates etc. Zero pvp.
