brutal mode way too hard needs a nerf

To be fair, some of the new abilities do feel kind of overtuned just relative other bosses of similar level, like Lidia and her orbital nuke.

Ice archer ain't one, though. Oh no, you have to step away when she's in stealth, how terrible.

lol no they dont half of them are insta gimmicks like they had in ER. literal memorization is the only way, which is also awful design.

its why DS3 is the best of the series, ER just repetition. no skill required just time

Only downside is that they are just health sponges and it just takes forever to kill. Otherwise it feels good.

i had the same but change my plan went for the guy with the crossbow went back for the ice girl and kill here like instanly :P i dont mind a sol like bosses thats why i joint brute

it's not the damage, I feel like there's some bs around bosses and AI that feels overtuned.. Keely, Errol, Grayson seemed fine, but then we have Rufus..

Are ranged bosses all gonna be that much of a pita? because I'm already starting to consider going the cheapest of cheap strategies imaginable, going for 100% ranged builds, all ranged spells, shields, fodder, slows, just the maximum cheese factory projectiles, kite and protection. whenever I get to unlock those, ofc, because with Rufus all you had were a bunch of bone tooth picks.
If only we could fine tune aspects of the game difficulty like boss health and damage output individually instead of just selecting one of three modes. That would've solved a lot of these sorts of issues. You'd think that kind of thing would've been added before early access was finished.

Instead of, y'know, doing the inverse.

can't you do that if you go in load game, edit server settings? I already did that for teleporting, there's no way I'm playing tens of hours of the riveting experience of 99.99% solo play and walking back to my castle, all because I'm carrying a few precious items that can't be taken on a teleporter.

playing on brutal. you can feel an increase but honestly i love it so far. you have to play good and if you dislike the 70% increase in enemy boss damage you can tune it down yourself in the settings.

Man got told the truth and proceeded to counter his own argument by saying "in my opinion" and "these are just the facts" in the same sentence.

It's a skill issue. It's called brutal for a reason, if you can't cope it, play on normie settings and accept you don't have the facilities for brutal. There's no shame in that.

A game isn't made to be impossible, since it's counterproductive to make a game that cannot be played - In 99,99% of cases where "the game is too hard", it's a skill issue and not a game issue.

That, my friend, is what we call facts - not based on my opinion.

If you have bad hands, I advise you to play on a lower difficulty.
