castle relocation bug?
So i am relocating my castle in the 2nd map but i reached a point in the relocation where i have 312/321 structure placed but there nothing else i have to place . All in the build menu is placed . What do i miss ? is that because some flower were planted ?

But u have to place every container that has any items inside, otherwise it wont let complete transfer. It means any coffin with servant, any prison cell with prisoner, any worktable with items inside. Any other building or decoration can be transfered as resources into travel bags.

I have done that, all crafting stations, storage, coffins, growing plots, travel bags, decorations. Even walls, floors and gates. Still can't continue.
I had something similar happen. The reason for it is because I forgot to put down my coffin. Once I did that, it accepted and turned all my left over walls and flooring into its basic resources. So if this is happening to you, be sure you click on EVERYTHING that isn't part of the castle building itself. You might find out you didn't place something down.
Ok, so I picked up all my crafting stations, then put them down again. It worked after that. It seems like it didn't register one of the items going down.
I have something that could be an answer for some people. I was relocating a castle and got 89/94 items placed but there was nothing left that could be placed. These missing items were seeds used in my growing plots. They didn't appear in the placement menu but since they were not mandatory I achieved the relocation and they have been stored in the bag.

That would make sense, but the bug made it look like there were still walls to be placed, because there were numbers on the walls that show how many walls are left.

Removing a pillar does not change that the game blelieves there is something wrong. Also i have shown two stone walls which however i cant place.

This feature needs some work. I guess i am back to old school moving castle by hand.
The pillar issue is down to how your walls are placed. Because the game recognizes walls and pillars as separate tile entities after they're placed, unless you place your walls in the same configuration as your previous base, then the game thinks you have either placed not enough pillars or too many pillars. the entire relocation system is fundamentally floored and needed to be tested more stringently before release.
I think the main problem is when interacting with the castle heart. If everything is not placed, it should automatically pop-up a window to place down the travel bag. Then it after placing the travel bag, it should have the two options of moving or canceling move.

The UI is just confusing because it makes you think the problem is with not placing everything down when, in fact, it's just that the castle heart option to move won't highlight and let you move until the travel bag is placed.

My problem was when placing the heart to move. When I placed the heart, I skipped placing the travel bag and started placing floors/walls instead. Then when I interacted with the heart, it wouldn't give me the selection to move. I had to relog and interact with the heart before it let me interact with the move option in the heart UI. Then, when selecting the move option, it gave me the option to place the travel bag, Interacting with the move option a second time after placing the travel bag moved anything I didn't place or move manually as mats into the travel bag. I was finished after this.

So from my experience, it seems like the UI on the heart bugged when I skipped placing the travel bag as the first option when moving. The second bug was the heart not allowing me to interact with the move option until I relogged. It makes me wonder if it's a server/client bug, where the server isn't registering everything I've done until I relog into the game. However, this move was done before the servers started lagging out, about two days after launch, so maybe it was server issues and not an actual coding bug?

I had nothing planted
i think there's an issue where it counts some of the palisades as separate objects. So basically if if you put only palisades somewhere and then will them with walls - it doesn't quite understand whats going on. My number was from 1-10 missing objects, depending on how i put them there
Its 100% inconsistent. If its happening to multiple people then it's a problem with the game when it physically will not let you place anything and refuses to let you relocate due to it failing to allow you to place the items. I can't relocate even though everything's placed under every tab.
Its happening to me right now. The only thing i can think of is that it's due to the pillars being different to my original wall layout.. What's the point in having all different shaped plots of land if we're expected to just build the exact same design every time? Taken me over an hour to landscape and place everything down.. I'll come back to the game when they hopefully fix this in the remaster or something, we only have 24 hours in a day.

It's buggy... I have 504/584 and everything is grayed out. I can't relocation and what makes it worse is that if I get to leave the area and wolves repopulate it, I lose EVERYTHING and I have to start the relocation process over (at least 1 hour of placing items around properly).

Edit: I have a lot of plants in my previous castle which I dont see on any structure tab during relocation.

This is so incredibly annoying. I should have just built a whole new castle. This feature is broken.
Hello all.

DISMANTLE every single plant you had in your previous castle. Even better if you dismantle the growing pots too as some plants are not easily distinguished. Simply put, the plants are not recognized as "structures" from the relocation system.

This solved it for me.
