A way to change my account date of birth

At the start of opening the game, we had to submit our date of birth but I accidentally put in the wrong year for my date of birth, I didn't realize this until it was too late as I could no longer hear voice chat nor see global/ local chats preventing from communicating with the player around me lessening my experience, I tried to fix it but I didn't see a way to go into the setting the I set in the beginning much less a way to change it. please help if anyone knows how to change the date of birth that you previously set.

That is concerning a bit, don't know when this age question was added if not just today. Awful that it seems used to gate communications, hopefully they will ease up on that. I'll keep an eye out for a way, sorry it happened to you.

We understand that you would like to put your correct date of birth. For this matter, you will need to delete the ClientSettings.json file in this path: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Settings\v3\ and restart the game! You will now be prompted to re-enter your correct birth-date.
