Whip should have been something else

I am disappointed in how the whip turned out they could have done a lot more with weapons but the last few they added dont really have a niche or do anything different they are more of the same only slightly better. Way back I posted about how a whip could be used as a minion weapon allowing you to tame creatures like wolves and bears and use them in combat with some other mechanics that would have been a much needed addition to the game. People have long wanted to be able to pen up creatures and keep them for their blood or other purposes like we do people, its a shame they arent thinking a little more outside the box with weapons. I am not sure many of the weapons have much of an identity outside the slight changes in aoe and skills which is a real missed opportunity.

Nah whip is exactly what i want in a game and no game outside of finalfantasy viii and castlevania does it justice. It's a great weapon and so excited to finally got it

Basic whip attack was obviously made to look like the 2d castlevania straight line from the player rather than anything particularly whippy.

Might be missing audio but seems to completely lack the crack or snap you might expect from a whip being used
