Have servant missions been "fixed" for solo play?
In the EA, if you were playing on a private server and sent servants out on missions, their mission progress timer was only progressed when you were playing (i.e. when your private server is "online" so to speak).

The "loophole solution" then was to make servant mission yields 2x or 3x default and just spam the lowest tier mission with the shortest timer, otherwise a fast player could conceivable beat the entire game before even completing 2 or 3 of the higher tier missions as sometimes they would be 24+ hours long.

Always thought that was a bit of an oversight and keen to learn if any changes were made to the system to better accommodate the solo crowd

EDIT: Seems like servant timer now ticks down on solo play, even when offline :)

A very common complaint and one I totally agree with. I booted up this morning to look at server settings and I don't see anything around this. Seems like it's still something we have to live with.

I sincerely hope they add this as a QoL. I only play solo and it's fairly frustrating to 3x returns and still have to wait 4 hours minimum.

Yep, the change was made with the Gloomrot update. Servant mission timers now continue while the player is offline.

The only caveat is that the mission technically isn't completed until you start up the server again, meaning if the servant was injured as a result of the mission, the timer for them to recover does not begin until you load up the server.

They changed this a long time ago as Suzaku has mentioned. So while you are not online.. time does pass even in solo.

Really?! How did I miss this? I think I put about 40-50 hours post-Gloomrot but maybe I wasn't paying attention?

So, even on a totally private offline server, the servant timers still tick down? Big if true!

For some reason it wasn't in the patch notes for the update. Or at least I don't remember seeing it there at the time.

Very true. Very big.

One more thing I suggest doing.. is to double the amount they get and keep the missions shorter.

I still think even though it runs offline the 16 and 24 hours missions are too long especially if they get injured and you have to wait for them to heal. Just my opinion lol.

Could be true. Forget what the balancing is like and really only made it to like level 50 or so last time...

Nice we don't need to create an entire new game to change world settings now. Also a big improvement.

I'm definitely a fan of this. You could make changes before but it involved adding/changing lines in a text document, which could go wrong very easily. So glad they added the ability to just access the server options again.
