I need help. PLEASE!
So i am new to this game, but i never knew that i will have such a hard time to play this. Apparently my PC hates this game for some reason, I cannot play a PRIVATE GAME it will instantly kick me off to the main menu and the PRIVATE GAME tab becomes greyed out making me unable to join in or even click on it. Now i noticed that when i disabled my antivirus the game works, but honestly thats fu**ing dumb because why would i want to disable my antivirus to play the game? i have over 800+ games and i played more than half i never ever experienced something like this were i have to disable my antivirus.

I also tried to make an exception ( i have the AVG anti virus ) and making the game as an exception didn't work either, i still cannot continue to play unless as i said i disable my Antivirus. Please tell me there's another way to play this game, i don't want to disable my Antivirus. Any tips will be greatly appreciated it.

Friendly advice? It's 2023, you don't need anti-virus programs. Windows Defender and maybe malwarebytes for some extra scans now and then is literally all you need. All other anti-virus programs only really serve to siphon power from your machine and cause conflicts like the one you're describing. Do yourself a favor and just get rid of it.

Yeah, every Windows PC has defender on it by default and in the incredibly vast majority of cases, it is all you need. That and just common sense like "don't click suspicious links" and the like. Anti-virus programs these days don't really do more than Windows Defender already does, but they do cause a lot more conflicts.

Malwarebytes is free and I recommend it for the occasional scan. Just open it up now and then when you feel like your system needs a scan or when you feel like it's behaving strangely. It's really easy to use: you just open it up, hit scan and let it do its thing.

So should i just disable my AVG? i dont think that i can uninstall it, right? When i disable it, it keeps telling me that my PC is at risk, do i really have to worry? i'm sorry for these stupid questions but i only know how to game, when it comes to these things i do not have any knowledge what so ever, lol

You should be able to uninstall it somehow. Even when it says your PC is "at risk" they're just exaggerating. This day and age, you will only ever get a virus if you yourself download and run suspicious software. Your PC won't suddenly get infected out of nowhere like these anti-virus producers often want people to think.
