Do we have to reset for 1.0?

Me and some friends have on and off played V rising the past few years and i remember during the GloomRot expansion or DLC whatever you wanna call it released.
We had to reset the entire save we had up until that point to be able to access all the content Gloomrot provided.

Will that be necessary again or is there something we could do to atleast minimize work needed to get to the approximate point we we're at earlier?

Yes, there will be another reset. Some game mechanics are changing completely.

The reset is 100% coming, not 99%, but 100%. It's the 1.0 release, meaning the full game.
In settings up the loot multiplier, material yield multiplier, inventory stacks multiplier. Then you don't have to farm as much.

I know was just hoping that there's some way i could save the hassle of doing it. Thanks anyways

I already had an idea they would wipe, but i wanted to get it confirmed while asking here. Theres also a whole other question if you even bothered reading it which, i doubt considering all you're doing is being disrespectful

Yeah well, I'm the guy that happened to miss the 8 signs, despite being overwhelmingly excited for the update and reading everything back to the Gloomrot release on the off chance I missed something. Surprise, surprise! I did! OP asked a question that I'd been curious about myself, and that was actually fairly helpful. Fortunately Tychus, Rectify, and even yourself were nice enough to fill me in.

Conversely, a mocking, rude response is simply uncooth, and OP decided to call them out on their poor taste. Acting as though someone is stupid just because they missed something and actively *asked for clarification* is not going to help answer their question, nor does it make the person who then mocks them for that request look anything other than petty/immature.

So, I do appreciate the information, as I do have a life outside of VRising (unfortunately) and I have been known to miss what are, apparently, 8 signs worth of warnings being put up. I'm not sure where (exactly) they were, but seeing as I only play the game about once a year, and only read the news every so often, I do appreciate people who are more invested being willing to fill me in.
