servant hunts changed
This game is awesome and very fun, but the one big annoyance I have is the long as timers for the servant hunts. It does make sense to do it this way I'll give you that, but maybe if there was a way to speed it up more. Like maybe if you made your way to the location to help, your actions would slash a massive amount of time off. Or maybe some sort of strategy mini game thing you could whilst still on the throne, like manipulating your forces whilst they are in action. I don't know, just hoping that throwing some ideas out there might make a impact.

You're not the first person to suggest this, and it's still not going to be done. If they removed them from the game then you'd have no progress offline. They're meant to be there for you to not have 100% downtime even when you're offline.

Besides, they already fixed them from when people who weren't on dedicated servers only had their servants active when they were online, thus negating their whole purpose.

Just curious, how fast do you generally want these servant hunts to go on?

I already think that farming becomes too automated from your castle, with gardens, hunts, and graveyards. I'd rather see people out and about in the world farming more. I guess they added these things for casual players that just like to log on for a few every so often in a PvE, no-wipe setting just to kill a boss and gather their in-castle farm, but I'd rather see people out in the world fighting over resources more.

I'm sure they have some ez-mode private server settings for this though. Who knows, maybe some people would like these mini-games better than leaving their castle to farm things in a PvE environment. Being a castle lurking vampire just doesn't sound like fun gameplay to me.

I could think of a few cool things to add for servant gameplay though, since it seems you're just looking for a more interactive game loop involving servants.

I personally don't mind how the hunts work...but would like the servants to be useful in more significant tangible ways. I think if there is a strategy about the right combination of servants providing certain defences against raids -that is actually impact-full lol- that could be fun.

They could have certain passives to crafting/home nodes or something..I dunno I just want them a little more spicy than gone for whatever hours/droning around the castle.

you can choose duration of the servant hunts.

You can change the loot amount the servants get and then just send them out on shorter trips.

I also believe that the servants could do A LOT more in this game.

-Outfits matching what they are wearing
-Base Defense
-Come with you and support you
-More options for Hunts.
