Error connection timed out

for some reason my game is just not connecting to any server im joining, my friend who is at the same area as me has no problems, is it a problem at my end? how can i fix this?

its not official servers im trying to connect to, besides, my friend can connect to the servers. i cant.

You cant connect with the new game client to a server that has not been updated as well. They are incompatible. You either have to downgrade the client or the server admin has to rebuild the server as the new version.

I have the same issue if I use the Continue button that should connect to my dedicated server. However, I can still connect if I click Play and directly connect to the IP:Port. You might give that a try since it's not an official server you're connecting to.

I'm trying to connect on my friend's server too, but I can't, neither him (on mine). What should I do?
