This game will be crazy tomorrow, i expect alot of people will be playing this, and if they do im almost certain they will make more content, within the world or in new areas.
That is my guess, hope im right. I will say this tho, if they take too long and people finish all the content in 1.0, its way harder to make a DLC matter as people tend to finish things and never look back, i know i do.
It will make it whatever you want it to be, thats why they have all these settings. There is a HUUUUGE screen with settings so you can tailor it just the way you want.
I play this for Coop, i couldnt care less about PVP, thats a choice i luckily have. It can be played Solo, Coop, PVP, or a mix of them all, no problems here, thats what makes this game amazing. Choices are good.
You missed out not experiencing this game's multiplayer, the absolute chaos and excitement of the raid window ticking over on a competitive server where multiple teams are scheming to get the shards is one of the best gaming experiences ive ever had.
If thats something you are interested in, then sure, i can see that. Im just not, not in games like this where 90% of your progress relies on gathering materials, upgrading, going on runs and taking stuff home, for it all to be destroyed in PVP.
If there were rules like not stealing from other players, and just pure pvp fight without the griefing and loosing your stuff, then sure, id be down.
Not the case in this game unless you play with people you trust.

I highly doute you will ever play as a non-vampire in V rising.
The game is built from the ground (in a thematic since) to be a vampire coming back to power and prominence. Facing the factions that tore down the vampires previously (luminance and the transendium) and facing the returning king of the night Dracula. To take his place in the new vampire age.
In a mechanical sense the sun light and blood mechanics are pretty core to what makes this game separate from others in the jonruw and the progression is tied to gaining knowledge by drinking the blood of prominent V bloods in the field. (eat the tailer to unlock the loom, ore the cursed smith to unlock silver smithing).
This all makes a lot of sense for a vampire but would need a heavy rework to apply something that is close enough in depth for un alternative faction.
It would be lovely to play a werewolf that could walk around a village undetected during the day, but you better get out before sundown, and everyone attacks.
No spells. You would need to make a whole new system for more physical abilities.
Hunters would get a bunch of gadgets, harpoons, tryp wires, firebombs, etc. And would be OP during day light but underpowered at night.
I would love to see this sort of stuff. But the changes needed to do justice to different faction would be so monuments that it would need a howl new game.
Maybe one day we will get it, but I don’t think it will be V rising, maybe a sequel ore something to come years down the line.
(sorry about the rent)
because devs can only see pve players feedback
