Why did you time release during Diablo 4 season start?

Like it or not, there is alot of hype in Diablo season 4 because they're changing all the fundamentals. I like V rising but you shouldnt put yourself in a position to compete against giants.
Diablo season 4 starts may 14, your release starts on 8 may. Like come on?

Now seasons usualy last 4 months which is great, most people get bored after a month or 2 which gives your server restart in 6 months a good edge. I'm not doubting your long term position but rather your release... You only get one release 1.0... and you kind amessed it up.

If someone messed up, that would be Blizzard releasing against this gem of a game, and thats a fact. Tbh ive blacklisted Blizzards years ago, they are dead to me and will remain so.

Nobody who plays this will want to play D4, they are not even comparable in genre, all they share is the same camera angle.

And probably because it is strategic decision to release during that time frame with vendors one which was negotiated months ahead and not so easily adjusted. Like for example console releases.


And good for you that you enjoy Diablo 4 and I wish you the best of luck with the season. If those things indeed last 4 months well than you have something to look out for after you get bored of it in two months :)

I still have to try it one day myself but than again I still have a catalog of a couple of hundred or thousand games I still have to try so maybe someday when I got the time.

They're moving further away from the loot-based style of Diablo 2 into an MMO-Lite style of gearing, complete with the +1 tempering system of Eastern MMOs.

Season 2 was the first time I used "randomize" for the name of a character in any game, because it's thrown away after the 2 weeks it takes to finish the season. Season 3 I was bored in a couple hours.

V Rising one Week and you are done after that D4 S4 and one Week you are done. Play another V Rising run or another game. Dont know the problems.

i mean i played WoW alot too in 2024 but DAMN, crying about D4 and v rising 1.0 release holy. but guess what, you can play everything at any time you want.
i play around 10 different games depends on what i want to play now or what i'm up for. sooo its simple one or 2 days you want to play trash d4? do it, next day you feeling you want to play v rising? guess what just do it..
man why the hell ppl must complain about something like that its so useless and pointles. i play ff14 and wow and if im unlucky both new expensions are only 1-2 months separated from each other but guess what im gonna do then? right, playing both depends on what i want from day to day, its just simple.
