Why did you time release during Diablo 4 season start?

Like it or not, there is alot of hype in Diablo season 4 because they're changing all the fundamentals. I like V rising but you shouldnt put yourself in a position to compete against giants.
Diablo season 4 starts may 14, your release starts on 8 may. Like come on?

Now seasons usualy last 4 months which is great, most people get bored after a month or 2 which gives your server restart in 6 months a good edge. I'm not doubting your long term position but rather your release... You only get one release 1.0... and you kind amessed it up.

That is FAR more dangerous to V Rising than a new Diablo 4 season.

If people would rather go play another generic PS game that's basically a re-skin of every other game they have made in the recent past.. Days Gone, Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn for $60 then.. I feel sorry for them honestly.

Clueless, and the kid still thinks that Diablo 4 is relevant. That game died a lot time ago, and not even the best Necromancer can ressurect that game.

You should blame Blizzard tho, they delayed S4 with 1 month to do the PTS for all the loot changes it brings. S4 originally was supposed to release in April.

i dont want the game to become ultra big. then it turns into mainstream trash. all games who become too big turn into mainstream trash unless thier devs have some actual gamer background.

if youre worried about media attention i would worry more about valheim ashlands release beeing close to v risings release than mainstream trash like diablo 4.

the old blizzard is no more wake up. its days of makeing good games are long past. its time for a reality check. the triple ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corporate buisness more than game industry is falling apart. FINALLY. why do you think the indie scene is blowing up? because it trys to make actual GAMES again. not buisness models disguised as games.

I really don't know if you're sincere or not, but let's assumme you're not just trying to farm clowns for a second.

How come is a season start of D4 anywhere near to the 1.0 lauch of V Rising which will include far more content than whatever D4 next season includes in the game?

I own all three.. have played all three extensively so I'm pretty sure I'm entitled to MY opinion.. despite different stories and settings they have a super similar feel/game play loops.. open world.. explore.. dumb story.. weird mechanics.. rinse and repeat just like whatever that other game that person mentioned is gonna be like.
