Planting seeds

No one but me seems to have this problem? I have planted soil pots on ground. They are showing but I can not put seeds in them. I have put seeds on hotbar as I was told to do and still nothing?

I don't seem to have an issue.
Plant plots down from the Production tab, Garden, Select plots and put down how many plots I want.
I put the Seeds I want in my hotbar and select it. I sometimes have to double/triple tap cause for whatever reason my game didn't seem register the first time I select it or press it the key. It shoots me into Building/plant mode and I plant my seeds in the plots.

Do you try to place them in Building mode or normal mode? It works for me to put them in the hotbar and klick the number the place they are in the hotbar or klick with the right mouse button on the hotbar to plant them. In Normal mode not in building mode.

As they mentioned above :

Place Seeds In Quick Select / Number / Hotbar > Select The Corresponding Number Or "Right-Click" Seeds > Plant In Soil Plot Or Planter "Left-Click" > Wait A Few Days For It To Grow

You can also remove them to put them in storage or move them to a different place :

Open Build Menu "B" > Hover Mouse Over Tree Or Plant > Salvage Hold "Space" > Close Build Menu "B"
