Castle throne requirements

before getting access to castle throne, the last task to do was to convert a human to servant. converting can be done as early as... I dunno, farbane? you could probably do it way before the armory bandit (grayson level 30). but then the requirement for castle throne suddenly jumps to requiring reinforced plank. which is either 1. lootable from dunley bastion, requiring at about level 50, or 2. defeating vincent, which is a 40+ boss.

You can find planks all over the place in Dunley. Besides, the jump is too high for what; when you get roadblocked by the main quest you climb the boss ladder. That's how it goes.

The amount of planks required is easily picked around Dunley, it's not even a rare drop and you only need 4 of them. So it's quite possible to have the throne well before even killing the bandit leader at the end of Act I by just giving a quick incursion to the guard camps at the border of farbane and dunley - The enemies here pack a punch and take little damage if you don't have merciless copper yet, but are very doable otherwise. Another shortcut are those guarded caravans that may net you several reinforced planks at once.

Last time, i've got the throne unlocked around the time I got the fishing rod.

The furthyer you get the wilder the leaps get on the quests, the quest book does really need an overhaul according to me...
