Maybe they bought the game for the MP aspect? or they wouldnt have posted. Common sense is not that common.
Also, this game is just as amazing when playing with few friends on your own server where u can make things more difficult.
There are also other ways to play the game, and if you are looking for highly populated servers, frequently wiped servers like bloodthirst might be your best bet.
Those are a very different experience than officials, but still recommended.
And like someone else said, population will explode in a few months when release drops. At that point you will have the opposite problem, where youll find it hard to find a place to play because all the servers are filled to the rim.
I’d put the game on hold waiting for the release, even if it will take a lot of time ( depends the player, it may be more o less, obviously ).
Although the server I was playing until some days ago was becoming quite populated ( up to 26 ppl online ).
They are an extra though ( me and my friends cleared the world bosses by lvl 80 rather than 84/85 ). I think rng can be for those that want to stick with the game past the 70/100 hours ( otherwise, the item level provided is enough to boost characters ).
Update drops -> Crowded and massive interest for a week -> Game is dead.
The simple truth is the game has no longevity to it because there's no interesting end-game content to keep players around. It's worth a single playthrough and that's it. If you're looking for a game with an interesting online presence, move along.
People were crying that the game stagnates because there were no resets.. now there are resets and behold.. the game still stagnates because it isn't fun to keep replaying it.
Every single PvP server is/was the same, people creating alliances beyond the official limit to bully newbies out of the server.. along with no life/job sweats playing for 16 hours a day coming out on top because of how the game mechanics work.
This game requires a time investment like none other I've ever seen and the reward for that time spent just isn't there.
