"Error: Server error" Any tips to fix this?
After the latest update (either the latest or the previous) I can't seem to connect to my solo client server. It fails to load all the stuff during the "Server starting up" phase, and then gets stuck during "Connecting 1/5".

Tried restarting, verifying game files. Anything else should I try? Thanks for the help.

Hey, I just posted a similar discussion. I have just figured out how to fix the issue. Go to users/appdata/localow/stunlockstudios/vrising/saves or cloudsaves/ and find your most recent save file in there. Copy it and back it up in a different folder elsewhere. Delete the rest and start a new server and start a new game. After doing that, go back to that directory, put your save into the folder and delete the save that was created when you exited the game. Now you should have your old save.

My server corrupted and this fixed the issue for me. Also turn off cloud saves afterwards. Hope this helps!

This worked. Thank you for the clever trick.

Verify the integrity of your installation files. There was a corrupt file in my case.
