Oi brainiac how about crafting a reinforced bone weapon at a work bench to harvest copper ?! if you are stuck on this 'puzzle' then dear lord your going to get demolished once you start encountering the v bloods.
Bottom line is, you can strafe left/right alternating in a rhythm and Elena will miss all her crossbow shots. If you're really confident you can even sneak in a spell or something while strafing.
As for her ice pillar phase, the ice shockwave attack is a split 3 pattern, so you can hide between the legs. The ice pillar itself is easily dispatched with any attack that deals many hits in one area as it is unmoving, such as longbow E or reaper E.
Have played the game blind. Spent most of vacation week playing.
They shouldn't be there you must have back pedaled into a roaming patrol as far as i recall this boss summons nothing but an iron maiden in the center of the 'arena' .
You're talking about Valencia.
They're talking about Elena. Different bosses.
Any boss that has adds with them at the start of the fight can be made easier by just killing the adds and then resetting the fight. When you fight Elena, she should be by herself, because you've already killed her adds and then ran away to heal if needed (even if it takes you a couple times).
Nah, it's General Elena, The Hollow. I just beat her on my second attempt. She roams around on a road with a bunch of devilkin, dracula dudes with battle axes, and 500 different patrols that keep joining the fight. Very annoying fight that you have to keep running off when another patrol shows up. Having to clear the entire forest to fight a boss is in line with the rest of the game, just an exercise in tedium.
Enjoying the game for the most part but this a 10 hour game stretched out to 100 because the devs wanted to make it as much of an annoying grind as possible.
